Stacey is a lightweight content management system. No database setup or installation files, simply drop the application on a server and it runs. Your content is managed by creating folders and editing text files. No login screens, no admin interface.
I’ve been playing with this for the past day, it’s a pretty neat alternative to WordPress and other database driven CMS. Now I just need...

Beginners
There have been many times when I have gone into somebody else’s code and been unable to work on it before having to decipher it. Doing that sucks, takes way too much time, and is unnecessary. If you are going to code something, do it right, and create clean, easy-to-read valid code. I suspect that too many people who shouldn’t be writing code are trying to write it, or are using...

trying to work out some plans for kayaking this weekend, it gets difficult without a car
Dear mr. fisher,
I know we haven’t met, but I have a car (ford focus w/ a yakima rack) and a playboat. I would love to do some kayaking some time this season, but don’t know anyone to go with. Not sure about this weekend, but if you’re looking for someone to boat with some...

16.99 Miles: or How I Quit Wondering and Learned...
So, today I ventured out on my bike to get back on it after a five day hiatus. I was also going to test out a new iPhone app I downloaded, Cyclemeter GPS Cycling Computer for Road & Mountain Biking (that’s a ridiculously long name).

It Is Time
It’s time to head on out on the bike, it’s nicer weather than the past two days, house guests are gone, and the apartment is back in order.
I also get to test out the cyclometer app I downloaded yesterday. I’ll admit, I’m a little excited about that.

Hey everybody, the album leaked, and we wanted you to be able to hear it from us. We wanted to offer it as a free download but that didn’t make sense to anyone but us.

Looking forward to getting back on my bike tomorrow. The weather is supposed to be warmer and more conducive to being outside, and I will get to try the new cyclometer app I downloaded.

Some Bad Words
Words I don’t really want to have read, but if I hadn’t read them, I would have been confused when certain websites weren’t working.
Web51 is scheduled to be taken offline to replace the disks and RAID controller.
The work is scheduled to begin at 13:00 UTC on March 22, 2010. We’ll update this post as the work progresses.

Today is one of my favorite kinds of days, rainy and quiet. I have work to do, finally, and some coffee. I have the front door open so I can hear the rain, and am working in the living room. The only problem with days like today is that I don’t really want to bike in weather like this. I guess I can go biking tomorrow.
