First Check

My first freelance check of the year came today. This is good news. For a while I was quite nervous about finding work, and after finding work I was nervous that it was just going to be a scam, or a dream, or both. Today squashes any fears and calms my nerves. Now I just need to keep it up and continue getting checks, this year is going to call for a bunch of money. Moving out of Texas in July (finally), and flying to Hawaii for my brother’s wedding in November are two of the big new things this year. The rest of the year is filled up with repeating money sucks: Winter holidays, birthday, food shopping, etc…

Crap, I think I need a second job.
